在中小企業經過10年的數字化轉型之後，雲計算已經成為企業的必需技術。雖然雲計算的影響力已經遍布全球，但是仍有少於50%的企業使用公有雲平台。
市場研究機構Forrester表示，2018年，企業對公有雲的采用將達到50%的裏程碑，並且雲應用、平台和服務將會持續改變企業爭取用戶的方式。
Forrester還發布了針對2018年雲計算產業的十大預測，其中有一些觀點比較鮮明，拿出來分享一下：
1、亞馬遜AWS、Google和微軟將會拿下整個雲平台市場76%的營收，2010年將會進步提升至80%；微軟、甲骨文和Salesforce將拿下Saas市場70%的營收；
2、2018年，微軟Azure Stack將會大幅激發混合雲市場花費；
3、全球公有雲市場規模2018年將從今年的1460美元增長至1780億美元，並且將會保持22%的複合增長率；其中，公有雲平台增長最快，2018年的市場規模將達到440億美元；
4、超過50%的全球化企業將會以來至少一個公有雲平台進行數字化轉型和服務客戶；
5、Kubernetes已經打贏容器編排大戰，成為主導力量；
6、企業將會將10%的流量從運營商賺到其他服務商， AT&T和Verizon將受到影響。
